GRAVURE & DESSIN
DANS le dessin comme dans la gravure je vois la lente élaboration d’un procédé patient qui aboutit à une forme de révélation.
Ce lent procédé participe à la révélation d’un espace intime que je ne projette pas vers l"‘autre mais dans lequel je l’invite à pénétrer.
IN the drawing as in the engraving, I see the slow elaboration of a patient process which results in a form of revelation. This slow process participates in the unveiling of an intimate space that I do not project towards the other but in which I invite him to enter.

DANS la gravure, le geste de grattage ne laisse pas de place à l’hésitation, c’est un geste franc et répétitif, l’action de l’acide qui creuse une empreinte, et finalement l’impression : Toutes ces étapes semblent matérialiser à elles seules le processus même de création.
IN the engraving, the scratching gesture leaves no room for hesitation, it is a frank and repetitive gesture, the action of the acid which makes an imprint, and finally the impression : All these steps seem to materialize the process of creation alone.

Un état de grâce et d’incertitude…
“LES CHIMERES NUMERIQUES sont nées de l’imagination, de la rêverie et de la chair.
Elles empruntent au portrait, à l’illusionnisme de la Nature Morte, elles jouent avec l’intangible et la forme en constante mutation.
Ces formes sont vivantes, elles ne livrent qu’une infime partie de leur mystère,
un mystère fait d’un entrelacs bulbeux, organique : Une “Forme Fantasme”,
Comme un esprit qui prendrait Corps.
Corps limpides, juxtaposés, imbriqués, superposés.
Des formes/présences qui se montrent et se refusent.
Des formes issues d’un monde aux frêles attaches, un monde avec lequel je n’ai que
peu de liens, mis à part ceux de l’esprit.”

“LA PEINTURE A L’HUILE est pour moi comme une évidence. Comme si un matériau vivant, était seul à même de traduire la vie.
Pourquoi cette obsession du vivant?
J’essaie de donner vie à ce que je crée.
Autoportrait Organique, processus intimiste, La peinture est pour moi synonyme de liberté. Donner corps à l’impalpable, à un monde intérieur.
Je ne cherche pas à représenter, mais à peindre un fantasme.
La raison et l’intellect lâchent prise : Place à l’imaginaire!”

SCULPTURES
UNE EXPLORATION, plus qu’une démarche, dans le coeur même des formes les plus intuitives pourrait qualifier mon travail de sculpture.
Dans la sculpture, c’est la matière qui commande au geste.
Ces formes sculptées sont, à la fois, intentionnelles et accidentelles.
Et portent souvent en elles, un caractère secret et intime.
Je qualifierais ma sculpture d’Intimiste, d’Organique, d’Irrepressible et d’Erotique
AN EXPLORATION, more than an approach, in the very heart of the most intuitive forms could qualify my work as sculpture.
In sculpture, it is the material that commands the gesture.
These sculpted forms are both intentional and accidental. And often carry in them, a secret and intimate character. I would describe my sculpture as Intimate, Organic, Irrepressible and Erotic.

La poésie de la Chair…
L’OUTIL VIDEO m’attire depuis que j’ai découvert l’art ludique, sensuel espiègle et coloré de l’Artiste PIPILOTTI RIST.
LA POESIE DE LA CHAIR, inspirée par un passage du film “LA MOUCHE” de D.CRONENBERG, est une composition qui joue avec la perception et la distortion de l'image de la CHAIR. Un paysage de chair... une chair libre vibrante, fascinante et lumineuse. Ni fragmentée ni morte, une chair vivante, voluptueuse, lascive et hypnotique.
L’IDÉE d’élévation est intrinsèquement liée à la notion de désincarnation. Autrement dit : il faut se défaire de sa chair pour que l’âme s’élève.
J’aimerais rattacher à la chair, la notion même de spiritualité : Une chair qui ne serait plus seulement enracinement dans le présent, mais qui par un procédé proche de la purification, deviendrait passage, accès vers l’élévation.
L’IDEE DE CHAIR n’est pas liée à la mort pour moi : Elle est une Ode à la Vie.
Je cherche à créer une matière qui irradie la vie :
Une MATIERE EROTIQUE.

“THE POETRY OF FLESH, inspired by a quote from “THE FLY” by D. CRONENBERG is a composition that plays with perception and distortion of the image of flesh... Flesh is seen as a landscape, a flesh that is free, vibrant, fascinating and luminous... neither fragmented, nor dead, a flesh that is alive, lustful, voluptuous, hypnotic.
The IDEA of elevation is intrinsically linked to the notion of disembodiment. In other words : you have to let go of your flesh in order for the soul to rise.
I would like to attach to the flesh the very notion of spirituality : A flesh that would no longer only be rooted in the present, but which by a process close to purification, would become passage, access to elevation.
THE IDEA OF FLESH is not linked to death for me: It is an Ode to Life. I try to create a material that radiates life : An EROTIC MATTER.”
